This year two important meetings were held
The Yom Kippur legacy of the Gideon Battalion
The meeting included a discussion in the various companies of the battalion with the fighters of the past
Like Gabi Ofir, Ilan Biran, Avraham Elimelech and more
At the end of the company meetings with the veterans, a meeting was held that included a ceremony
In the cultural hall of the Carmel Coast Regional Council.
Gideon’s race and march
This year the regular regiment and the association started an annual tradition of
Gideon race for the regular battalion and graduates of the battalion
Also at the same time there was a popular march
